John,

This week we’re taking our fight to the U.S. Capitol steps to demand that our senators finally pass the assault weapons ban and save lives.

These weapons of war have been used in the most deadly shootings in our country’s history: Highland Park. Buffalo. Uvalde. Odessa. Dayton. Aurora. Parkland. Poway. Orlando. Las Vegas. Pittsburgh. Sandy Hook. Yet, we’ve failed to pass a ban for nearly two decades.

Enough is enough.

And we're not just activating in Washington, DC, we are calling on all of our grassroots supporters to join this fight – no matter where you are in the county. Before we rally on Thursday, we’re asking you to join us in urging our senators to pass this ban that is proven to save lives.

Will you sign the petition and urge your senators to ban assault weapons NOW >> [[link removed]]

We know that banning assault weapons saves lives. When a federal ban was in effect from 1994-2004, America saw a 37% decline in gun massacres and a 70% decline in assault weapons traced to crime. But Congress let the ban expire in 2004, due to NRA influence, and mass shooting deaths have increased by 347%.

Please, can you send an urgent message your senators before we march on the Capitol?? >> [[link removed]]
