Hi friend, I want to tell you a little bit about my friend from Nevada, Congresswoman Susie Lee. Susie and I are proud to be from neighboring states, and we have quite a bit in common.

(Except for the whiteboard. I’ve tried to get Susie to use it but it’s not her thing – I totally get it!)

If you’re short on time, let me give you the rundown. Susie Lee is running for re-election in one of the most competitive congressional districts in the country and could use your support. Look, the math is pretty clear. Democrats are at serious risk of losing our House majority in the fall.

And recent reports from FiveThirtyEight shows that 60% of Americans have an election denier running to represent them at some level of government. It’s okay to be shocked – I am, too.

One of them is running to unseat my friend Susie Lee and poll after poll has shown that this race couldn’t be any closer. Her opponent has even tried to contest the results of her previous State Senate election and is endorsed by prominent anti-choice groups.

I’ve seen Susie in action and I know she’s in Congress for all the right reasons. Advocating for constituents, keeping corporations in check, and standing up for working people. And as working moms with families of our own, I know that for Susie the fight for families is personal.

We cannot risk losing someone as dedicated as Susie Lee this November.

If you know anything about me, it might be that I’m a big fan of crunching numbers. And I can positively tell you that Susie Lee will not win this election without your support.
