A new poll just came out about the Wisconsin Senate race, John:
Senator Ron Johnson pulled ahead of WFP champion Mandela Barnes by one point in the Marquette Law School Poll.
We know that this doesn’t sound like the best news — especially when you recall that Mandela was polling seven points ahead of Johnson in the same poll just last month. But something has changed in this race since then, something that can have a huge influence on a tight race like this…
In August alone, GOP campaigns and super PACs spent $36 million on TV ads across the country — including in Wisconsin.1
These ads have been relentlessly attacking Mandela at every turn. And they’re not stopping anytime soon. In fact, in the first two weeks of September, these groups have spent an additional $18 million on ads.
If Mandela is going to flip this seat and grow our Working Families Majority, we need to allocate as many of our resources as possible to defend him from these GOP attacks. Can you donate $3 today to help power Mandela to victory?
With just 50 days to go until Election Day, this is one of our biggest opportunities on the entire map to flip a seat from red to blue and replace a Republican with a real working families champion. That’s why WFP organizers and volunteers have been putting in the work every single day to reach as many voters as possible on the doors, over the phone, and via text.
But in order to reach more voters and cancel out the negative effects of the GOP attack ads in just 50 days, we need an increase in grassroots support as soon as possible.
Can you chip in $3 to defeat Ron Johnson, end the filibuster, and send Mandela Barnes and other working families champions to DC in November? Your donation will support critical organizing and mobilization efforts in Wisconsin.
