** UPDATE: Statewide flag order honoring Queen Elizabeth II concludes at sunset tonight

CHARLESTON, WV – With today marking the day of interment for the late Queen Elizabeth II, Gov. Jim Justice's recent order ([link removed]) , declaring that all United States and West Virginia flags on all State-owned facilities throughout the state be displayed at half-staff, will conclude at sunset tonight: Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, in accordance with an announcement from the White House.

The flag order has been in effect since the day of her death: Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022.
