On Friday, Glenn Youngkin unveiled a new policy attacking LGBTQ students in Virginia’s public schools.
His new policy is targeting some of the most vulnerable and young members of the LGBTQ community, restricting their rights to privacy, and discriminating against them based on who they are or who they love.
Folks, we’ve seen this before. It’s part of a national Republican movement to restrict the rights of LGBTQ students. It opens LGBTQ students to even more harassment and bullying, and it may make their home life far more dangerous.
We need leadership in the Commonwealth that DEFENDS our most vulnerable students, not policies that encourage bullying and harassment. As Democrats fight this new policy, will you chip in to show Glenn Youngkin that Virginians won’t stand for hate?
