Our Democratic Governor Roy Cooper will veto any attempts from the North Carolina GOP to restrict abortion access.
But if North Carolina Republicans gain a supermajority in the State House and Senate, they will be able to override his veto and pass whatever cruel anti-choice legislation they want.
NC Republicans need to gain just 2 seats in the Senate and 3 seats in the House to obtain these supermajorities– which is why it is CRITICAL to elect pro-choice Democrats Diamond Staton-Williams, Rep. Ricky Hurtado, Rep. Marcia Morey, and Carla Catalán Day.

John, abortion rights are personal to me.

During that time, I suffered an ectopic pregnancy and had to make the difficult decision to have an abortion to save my life.
