Biden and Blumenthal are Gaslighting Americans on the Border
GREENWICH, CT - Yesterday marked one week since Vice President Kamala Harris told reporters the border was secure. Meanwhile over the weekend a stash house for illegal immigrants was shut down in Laredo and countless drug seizures occurred, including deadly fentanyl and 450 pounds of meth. This follows just a few weeks ago when 187 pounds of the lethal drug fentanyl, worth an estimated $4.3 million, (enough to kill 42,410,887 Americans) was seized by Border Patrol. Just two milligrams of fentanyl is considered a lethal dose, highlighting how dangerous and deadly this drug is to Americans.
At a time when 8,000 immigrants are encountered every day, and drugs including 10,600 pounds of fentanyl and 150,000 pounds of meth have been discovered at the border, political outsider and U.S. Senate candidate Leora Levy is calling for stronger border protections.
“The Biden Administration is gaslighting Americans, telling them the border is secure when that could not be further from the truth. Fentanyl and other dangerous drugs are flooding across the border and entering our local communities, and Blumenthal has done nothing but support and enable Biden's open border agenda.
“Blumenthal even voted against directing $300 million for anti-narcotic and opioid activities carried out by U.S. Customs Border Protection. That money could have been spent securing our border, but instead Dick decided to further tie border agents' hands behind their backs. We are all less safe because of Biden and Blumenthal’s open border policy, but our children, who are being poisoned by these deadly drugs flowing across our open Southern Border are the true victims of this crisis. This epidemic is killing the next generation and our future.”
