Hi John,
Speed improvements are the highlight of our newest deploy. When creating and sending emails and mobile messages – especially during election season – getting things out the door quickly is crucial. After our latest update, you should notice your email workflow moving a lot more quickly! Stay tuned for more updates around speed as we continue to invest in infrastructure.
You’ll also notice that Action Network has a new look! After 10 years we have bid adieu to our trusty starfish logo and upgraded our websites — read more about the new branding and check it out here.
Here are a couple other improvements in this latest deploy:
Filter inbox by keyword
We continue to invest in the mobile inbox to make it easier for you to manage replies and engage in 1-1 conversations with supporters. This new update allows you to filter the inbox by a specific keyword in order to dig into responses by campaign. More on the inbox here.
On uploads, option to skip ladders
Sometimes you don’t want everyone in an upload to get your automated ladder emails and mobile messages. Now you can easily check the box at the bottom of the uploads page to ensure that no one on the list will enter a ladder, without having to stress about adding and excluding the correct tags.
Other updates worth noting
-
Notification email when groups accept joint action invites
-
New report that shows all RSVPs across an event campaign
-
We now support list-unsubscribe to make opting out a more seamless process
ActBlue sync updates:
As with all our new features, these were chosen, brainstormed, and paid for by our Development Partners at the AFL-CIO, Daily Kos, the DNC, and the Canadian Labour Congress — read more about our cooperative development process here. Check out our release notes to follow along with what’s new on Action Network.
