✓ Clarify that the Vice President’s role in certifying elections is Solely Ministerial
✓ Raise the threshold for challenging a State’s slate of electors from one Representative and one Senator to 20% of both chambers!
And, as of this week — thanks to pressure from Former President Carter as well as grassroots support from Democrats like YOU — this legislation finally has the 60 votes needed to bypass a Republican filibuster!!
BUT: Opposition Republicans are now trying to delay the needed vote until after the Midterm election!! We've got to KEEP THE PRESSURE ON and get this CRITICAL legislation passed once and for all!!
