Beto and our supporters have inspired over 90,000 Texans to knock on
doors, call voters, and write letters to their neighbors — but to win, we
must turn out more voters than Texas has ever seen. Here's the plan:
→ Until October 2, we'll be in the "voter ID" phase of this campaign where
we talk to hundreds of thousands of voters, ask them who they're voting
for, and collect the contact information we'll need to follow up before
Election Day.
→ On October 3, we'll begin our Get Out The Vote or GOTV operation when
we're planning to talk with as many of the 7 million voters who we believe
are likely to vote for Beto as possible.
→ In the final weeks before the election, we're preparing to launch more
than 4,000 block walks across the state — hosted by volunteers and based
on where our highest-priority voters live.
It’s not rocket science – but it is strategic. We've done the research,
and this outreach is the most effective way to increase voter turnout.
With 50 days to go, it's all hands on deck.
