John --
Working on a campaign isn't easy. It means long hours, missed time with family and friends, and relocating for months at a time to live closer to work. It means late nights at community events, forums, and fundraisers, and early mornings on the road.
But my team works hard because they believe in the vision that you and I believe in: That we can build a better country together.
A country where people aren't forced to choose between getting the health care they need and supporting their families.
A country with pristine coasts and natural places for future generations to enjoy.
A country where our children are free to be who they are, love who they choose, and know that their communities are safe.
My team has made sacrifices to fight for what they believe in, and they've been working as hard as they can to hit the goals that will help us win in 2020. But we're not on track ahead of our biggest FEC fundraising deadline to date, and I can't let my team down. Will you chip in $10 or $20 to help us catch up?

Building a better country for all of us means we need to hold our Democratic majority in the House. That starts with defending battleground districts like this one -- and it's critical that we hit all of our fundraising goals along the way.
Falling short of our goals means hiring less staff, and more work for our current team members.
Falling short of our goals means opening fewer field offices, and longer drives for our organizers.
And ultimately, falling short of our goals means making tough decisions on how we communicate with voters and which voters we communicate with down the line.
I want to give my team every resource they need to succeed. That's why I'm personally asking if you will make a donation today and help us close the gap before our fast-approaching FEC deadline >>

The fight ahead will be tough. I'm grateful to have such a dedicated and talented team by my side.
Thank you for your support,
