I wanted to take a moment and personally update you on the latest from HQ.

With roughly one month until early voting begins in our race, we're about to launch our first flight of TV ads, mailers, and we're continuing to run a robust, door-to-door field program throughout the district. We’re also countering the attacks being run by Kevin McCarthy’s super PAC.

Your dollars are being put to work, and I want to stress that none of this would have been possible without your ongoing support.

I've never been high on the idea that money is the end-all to winning an election. But what I do believe in is spending resources wisely and effectively. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is widely considered the most competitive race in the country. We can't leave anything to chance, and YOU are helping us accomplish that.

September 30th marks our final FEC fundraising deadline before the General Election. My campaign team got together and set an ambitious goal of raising $55,000 in online donations before the deadline hits. This is doable, but we’re still short of that mark. It’s clear that voters in our community are ready to reject the extremism that has come to define today's GOP and our opponent. Our job is to make sure they know there’s a strong alternative in IL-17. But doing this takes resources, and since I’ve sworn off corporate PAC money, I’m counting on your support.
