Workshops are led by Registered Maine Guides, experienced outdoor enthusiasts, and/or MDIFW and Bryant Pond 4-H Camp staff. Registration is required.?

This workshop will cover everything from proper shot placement, to tracking deer, field dressing (a live demonstration on a harvested deer), how to remove game from the woods, and skinning and cooling game meat. (afternoon session)
Learn about deer habitats, what deer feed on, methods to harvest white-tailed deer in Maine, hunting tactics and equipment, safety, and shot placement. (morning session)
Learn how to take bearings, orient a map, and plot a course of travel. You?ll also learn topographical map symbols and important features. This workshop blends classroom time with outdoor hands-on skills so please dress accordingly. (morning session)

Learn about fly fishing gear, tactics and techniques, and receive an intro to casting lesson?before testing your skills out on the water. Must have a fishing license. (morning session)

Join us for an afternoon on the range where you will learn basic firearm safety, handling skills, and firearm care and shoot .22 rifles to learn the basics.?(afternoon session)
Join our certified 4-H instructors as we explore bow equipment, safe shooting techniques, and tips for accuracy and precision on the range. (morning session)
