1) Thank God “The Border Is Secure”
VP Kamala Harris is the border control czarina and she reported to us all last week that “the border is secure.” We can all go home and stop worrying about the situation in border towns in states like Texas, Arizona, and California. No humanitarian crisis. Mission accomplished.

Then we see this article from the Daily Mail this weekend and we can’t help but wonder what border Kamala is talking about.

2) Europe (And Biden) Bullying Hungary To Raise Their Taxes

The Wall Street Journal reports that the Europeans are threatening to boot Hungary out of the EU and punish them financially because its “nationalist government” is “undermining the bloc’s Democratic values.”

These are laughable claims. It is true that Hungary’s government is far from exemplary (they’ve tended to side with the Russians in the invasion of Ukraine), but this assault on Hungary has nothing to do with “Democratic values.” Prosperity and freedom are the most important values and the EU is now a gang of socialist shrinking economies. Nearly the entire continent is mired in deep recession thanks to green energy foolishness, high tax rates, low productivity, big government socialism initiatives, and a collapsing currency.

So why is Hungary being targeted? Because they’ve courageously decided to stand up for their national sovereignty and have refused to join the tax cartel concocted by Biden, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, and the European Union, which would force low tax nations to raise their tax rates to a “global minimum” of 15%. (How pathetic that the United States is not joining Hungary in staunch opposition.)

The chart below shows that other than a few Caribbean countries, Hungary has the lowest tax rate – well below most of the other EU nations. That’s the real reason the European leaders want them out.

As for the U.S., when Republicans take over Congress in January next year, they should immediately take action to withdraw from the Biden-Yellen-EU tax cartel. This should be treated like an international treaty requiring a two-thirds vote of the Senate for ratification.

3) Our New Mental Health Crisis Isn’t COVID, It’s Climate Change
We’ve often maintained that “climate change” is much more a psychosis than a “science,” and so now have confirming evidence by the American Psychological Association. The APA reports a condition called climate anxiety “is already taking a huge toll on the mental health of people around the globe.”

While the condition is not yet treated as an official clinical diagnosis, mental health experts say “eco-anxiety” can be life-altering in its negative effects. The British medical journal Lancet has a new study by psychotherapist Caroline Hickman reports that a study of 10,000 people between ages 16 and 25 in ten countries found that six out of ten professed to be very or extremely worried about climate change.

So here is our plea. Stop needlessly scaring people about the climate change apocalypse. It is bad for the nation’s health.

4) Biden Declares Pandemic Over – But Not His Emergency Covid Powers

But that reality didn’t stop him from extending the public health emergency for the 11th time.

5) And The Pandemic That Is “Over” Isn't Over When It Comes To Voting
In New York Democratic governor Kathleen Hochel has also declared the Covid crisis over. But that didn’t stop the state’s Democratic Party from mailing millions of voters pre-filled “Statewide Voter Assistance Program” forms for absentee ballots. The Democrats even pre-checked the box for “COVID concerns” as the reason any voter will be applying for the ballot. (Why don’t the Dems just go ahead and fill out the ballots for these absentee voters as well?)

By state law, absentee ballots can only be requested in New York if the voter is away from home or too ill or disabled to get to a polling place.

New York voters are ALREADY on record as opposing any loosening of absentee ballot rules. Last year, New York’s legislature placed Proposition Four on the statewide ballot to allow anyone to cast an absentee ballot for any reason. The initiative failed by more than 10 points. Their intention is now being ignored.

And to think these are the people who accuse Trump supporters of being a “threat to democracy.”
