Hey friends – in a lot of ways, CT-04 is a pretty unique district. One of those unique traits is the popularity of taking the train to work.

The Metro-North Railroad is one of Connecticut’s vital transportation services, giving many CT-04 cities a direct line to New York.

I’m even a frequent rider! I take the train to and from Washington when the House is in session, so I understand firsthand just how important our transportation is.

That’s why I was so thrilled to help pass the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act , which invested $1.3 billion into Connecticut public transportation, including railroads.

That’s not all the infrastructure we’re rebuilding either: Thanks to this bill, Connecticut is investing over $3 billion to tackle traffic congestion and create safer roads, over $500 million to repair bridges, and over $50 million to build public electric vehicle charging stations.

Rebuilding our infrastructure and fixing public transportation is one of the most important investments this country can make. These investments will help mitigate traffic by reducing congestion and decreasing our dependence on fossil fuels. It’s a win-win!

I’m always looking for bipartisan solutions that will deliver meaningful results to CT-04. Will you chip in $25 before my final quarterly FEC deadline before Election Day to help me continue advocating for American infrastructure in Congress?
