Good News: We have a real chance to win this race. We’ve traveled over 7,000 miles to meet voters where they are at, speaking to them at meetings and town halls. We have recruited 400 active volunteers. And it’s all happening at the right time — right before we hit the new year.

Bad News: There is a lot of big money flooding into this race in an attempt to buy this election. This means this race has gotten more expensive. We are a grassroots campaign, and we will refuse every cent of that big money. But, we are a bit behind on the $100,000 goal we’ve set for December. And this goal is not arbitrary. This goal is set to help us reach what we need to win. So, this is less than ideal.

Next Steps: We’re setting a Two-Day Fundraising Push to catch up — and we will do it the only way we know how: with as many donations as we can possibly generate from people all over Maine and across this country, who are ready to help Betsy win.

Can you make a $10 contribution to our campaign today — as part of our Two-Day Fundraising Push?

It is no surprise that big money is pouring into this race. That's because they are trying to buy it. We won’t let that happen. We're funding an ambitious statewide grassroots campaign with donations from people like you. No corporate PAC money, no federal lobbyist money — just you. And if we stand together, we are going to win.

In Solidarity,
