No matter what happens in this election, we will have a lot of work to do in order to pass legislation that expands voting rights, protects a woman’s right to access an abortion, and makes our communities safer from gun violence.

Does anyone believe we’ll have the Republican votes needed to overcome a filibuster on these issues?

No.

Seriously, does anyone believe Republicans will lift a finger to make it easier for people in this country to vote?

No.

Does anyone believe Republicans will do anything to raise the minimum wage for working people in this country?

No.

Does Arizona deserve a Senator who would bypass a filibuster to do what needs to be done for the people of this country?

Yes.

Yes they do.

A lot of people ask Ruben what he’s going to do next cycle. Will he primary Senator Sinema or not?

The truth is, he doesn’t know.

First thing first, win re-election. Then any resources left over can be used if he challenges Senator Sinema. But he can’t do that alone.

Can you please use this to contribute whatever you can afford today to Ruben Gallego’s re-election campaign? Anything left over at the end of the election can be used if he decides to primary Senator Sinema next year.
