Like a lot of people, I grew up going to church and had a relationship with God that wasn’t especially strong. But as I grew older that changed.
When I started my time at the United States Military Academy, two young men invited me to a Bible study.
They were very intentional to me in explaining God’s Word. After some study and discipleship with them, they helped me begin my walk with Christ.
Since then, faith has been central to my life. I keep a Bible open on my desk, and read every morning from the Good Book.
Like you, I am also confronted with a highly complex set of problems, and I need the wisdom to try and make the right calls. So I need my mind renewed with the truth of the Gospel each day.
Unfortunately, faith-driven judgments are few and far between in Washington. Our leaders act without moral clarity and the consequences have been devastating.
We are less than 100 days from the upcoming midterm elections, so it is critical we have the resources to elect more faith-driven leaders who love America. Time is of the essence!
