A lot of the work that we do isn't glamorous, and you won't hear
anything about it on corporate-controlled media. Here's the
thing: that's by design. The powers that be don't want us to
focus on organizing or issues like Medicare for All. They don't
want us to take over the Democratic party by winning local and
party level elections up and down the ballot.

Unfortunately for them, that's precisely why we remain
laser-focused on all of those things. The political revolution is
impossible without building progressive power. That's why we are
doing the critical on-the-ground organizing work in South
