John,

MAGA Election Deniers parroting Trump’s Big Lie are running for key offices in 27 states, aiming for a takeover of our nation’s electoral process. In Arizona, the Cuckoo Caucus is led by Krazy Kari Lake and Blake Masters (see list below).

At the same time, there is an unmistakably coordinated effort by Trump loyalists across the country to swamp elections offices and paralyze preparations for the 2022 vote – including voter registrations, absentee voting, and logistics for Election Day itself. And the scariest thing of all? They have a very real chance to succeed!

Early voting in Arizona starts October 12th. In 2020, nearly 90% of Arizona voters cast their ballots during the early voting period, so this race could be decided before Election Day even begins. We can’t afford to wait until November to ramp up our voter outreach – most will have already voted by then.

What Can I Do to Help Arizona? Below you will find pointers to some meaningful actions with organizations in need of dedicated, democracy-loving volunteers like you — NOW.

As a volunteer with The Union, you’ll receive a national action email each week. Whether you live inside or outside the area for a particular race, there will always be actions for both situations.

We have less than 50 days until the midterm elections. Zero time for hesitation. We are mobilizing our pro-democracy coalition across all 50 States. It will take all of us to ensure we have a democracy for ourselves and future generations of Americans.

Please forward this email to one friend today, ask them to stand together with us, and get them to join The Union. And follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Together,

The Union

P.S. While the two big links above are the fastest way to get involved, if you’re interested in other Arizona actions coming up this week, be sure to check out some of the more important ones below. If you attend any of the events in this email, reply back and tell us how it went, or anything else you’d like to share.

Young voters make up the largest voting bloc in the country, but face unique challenges when it comes to registering to vote. When we cast our ballots, we’re building a government that works for us, and getting young people registered is the first step. Join the NextGen team as they engage in digital tactics like link dropping, content creation, and more to get young voters in Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Arizona registered to vote. New to social media organizing? No worries! They’ll walk through all of the tactics and provide you with a toolkit for continued learning.
