Hey team,

Today is the last day of our Match Fund, so I just finished up a call with Don, my campaign manager, to see if we were able to hit our goal yet.

Well, he just let me know that we're just $719 away from hitting our original $27,000 goal. Extending the double-match deadline helped a lot, but I'd hate to fall short when we've come so far.

Meeting this deadline will prove that we have the strength to defeat my right-wing opponent and bring two more years of progress to IL-06? Folks, will you contribute $10, $15, or whatever you can to help us whittle down this $719 before midnight?
