Based on the news coverage surrounding the drop-off of the 50 or so illegal immigrants on Martha's Vineyard last week, you'd be forgiven for thinking the progressive crowd just accomplished one of the largest humanitarian efforts in the history of western civilization.
"I'm so proud to be from Massachusetts," gushed Martha's Vineyard state Rep. Dylan Fernandes, yes, a Democrat.
In truth, it took less than 48 hours for the progressives running Martha's Vineyard to deport every last one of the migrants to a military base on the mainland. They even showed up in droves to cheer their removal.
For the first time, radical progressives got to witness up close and personal the results of their virtue signaling and pandering, and they liked it so much it took them less than two days to make it all go away.
This is exactly how they legislate. Create the problem, pat yourself on the back, and live your best life without having to deal with the consequences.
My friends, we've got a prime opportunity to make them deal with the consequences this fall.
We can't afford to let the opportunity go to waste.
