Even though Scott Jensen and Matt Birk’s priorities are so deeply unpopular and out of step with Minnesotans' values, don’t forget: This is a midterm election, and this race is still incredibly close.

Election analysts have already downgraded our race three straight times, and that was before the nearly seven-figure attack ad campaign against us. The fact is, we’ll need to build one of the most powerful campaigns in state history to win in November. 

I know this team is up to the challenge, but if we don't prove it when our fundraising numbers are made public, we won’t get another chance to regain our momentum.

This public reporting deadline is a make-or-break moment for us. And as of this morning, we still need to raise $81,471 by 11:59 pm on Tuesday to reach our goal.

I am proud of what we have accomplished together over these last four years, but our work isn’t done. There’s so much more we can do to build on our progress – like expanding childcare, investing in classrooms, and tackling climate change.
