Over in our neighboring state of New Hampshire, Rep. Chris Pappas just won his primary – and he’s officially running against Karoline Leavitt – a former Trump aide, anti-abortion extremist, and proud election denier. 

She has committed herself to being a rubber stamp for the GOP’s most radical policy ideas, including a national abortion ban, privatizing Social Security, and throwing out the results of free and fair elections. The scariest part is that right now, this race is rated a Toss Up – and Chris is at risk of losing a seat we need to hang onto our Democratic Majority in Congress.

Chris is one of just a handful of openly LGBTQ Members of Congress. And since being elected in 2018, he’s fought to combat the opioid epidemic, get dangerous PFAS “forever chemicals” out of drinking water, and lower prescription drug costs for NH families. 

To see him be replaced by an extremist hellbent on banning abortion, privatizing social security, and spreading Donald Trump’s Big Lie would be a disaster. We can’t let it happen.
