In one of the wealthiest countries in the world, insulin costs seven times more in the US than its peer countries. People that use insulin do so because they must, to survive.
A one-month supply of insulin costs $4-$12 to produce. The cost to consumers ranges from $50-$1000 a month. This cost is a financial hardship for about 14% of diabetic patients, causing some to ration their doses or even go without… jeopardizing their lives.
Big Pharma greed is killing Americans. Nobody should be denied life sustaining medication because they can’t afford it. Most Americans want a cap on insulin. Congress must cap insulin prices NOW.
Add your name to the petition DEMANDING Congress put a cap on insulin prices! Life saving medication must be affordable!
Insulin prices have tripled over the last decade… This is unethical and dangerous.
Having diabetes is a hardship. It doesn’t need to be compounded by a financial burden caused by the cost of insulin. People have died because they couldn’t afford to buy insulin!
Big Pharma’s appetite for profit is killing people… Congress has the ability to stop the gouging of Americans afflicted with diabetes. Americans overwhelmingly believe we need a cap on insulin.
Sign the petition and tell Congress to help the people they were elected to serve! Put a cap on insulin for EVERYONE now!
People over Pharma Profits!
