When the Enough Project was founded in 2007, our mission was to prevent genocide and mass atrocities. Thanks to your support for our advocacy efforts, we have been able to work toward tangible, positive results for the people of East and Central Africa.

Our dedication is paying off. Just two weeks ago, in an interview with the Atlantic Council, Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok of Sudan cited the Enough Project and the Save Darfur movement, noting what an impact their activism had in creating the momentum in Sudan to topple long-time dictator Omar al-Bashir.

This past decade in Sudan has taught us that we can achieve even greater long-term impact if we work to dismantle the financial systems that enable dictators like Bashir to grow and thrive. Our new strategy is to integrate activism and advocacy with hard-hitting investigations and financial tools of pressure. Today, in coordination with our partner organization The Sentry, we are using this unique approach to help prevent conflict and mass atrocities, hold perpetrators to account, and support freedom, peace, and justice.
