You need to check out these three major updates from nonpartisan election analysts:

1. CNN just ranked North Carolina as one of the top three seats “most likely to flip” blue.
2. This comes just after National Journal said, “Recent polling has shown Beasley steadily creeping up on Budd, if not in the lead outright.”
3. Finally, FiveThirtyEight’s model shows the data agrees. They show the momentum is trending toward Cheri, even putting us up by .5% in their polling average.
This is all fantastic news, but we cannot take anything for granted.

McConnell and his dark money groups can see all of this data too, and it has them worried. That’s why just a few days ago, his super PAC added another $1 million to their ad buy. They are spending more in North Carolina than in almost any other Senate race.

It’s exactly like National Journal said, “Republicans are investing heavily in North Carolina...because their path to the majority is nearly impossible if they can’t hold this seat.”

Cheri’s last statewide race was decided by a margin of .007%, and we don’t want to fall short and wake up with regrets in November. Victory is in each of our hands, and it will come down to what we decide to do — together:
