Hi team – sorry to bother you on a Sunday, but this is urgent.
I was just going over my campaign’s fundraising numbers, and realized we need another 25 grassroots donations to hit our goal for the week. Can I count on you to chip in?
I’ll be honest: I’d much rather be knocking on doors and talking with voters than writing a fundraising email on a Sunday afternoon.
But falling short this close to Election Day could be disastrous for my campaign. Hitting my weekly goal could mean the difference between progress and a GOP takeover.
So I have to ask: will you chip in now and be one of the 25 grassroots supporters I need to hit my goal?
