John,
LAST YEAR, some billionaire corporations were raking in record profits, paying little or no federal income tax, and hiking prices for consumers.
THIS YEAR, President Biden and Democrats passed the Inflation Reduction Act to fight back.
Watch our latest video letting the American people know how this historic legislation is making billion-dollar corporations pay a fairer share of taxes, then pitch in to bring it to thousands of people.
Thank you for all that you do to fight for an economy and a tax system that works for all of us, not just the wealthy few.

John,
Between 2018 and 2021 Amazon paid a federal income tax rate of just 5.1% on $78 billion in profits.
Nike, 3.3% on $9 billion in profits from 2018 to 2020.
Netflix paid less than 1% on $10.5 billion profits from 2018 to 2021.
FedEx, $0% on $8.2 billion in profits from 2018 to 2020![1]
Our tax code is riddled with loopholes that have allowed billion-dollar corporations to get away with paying little to nothing in federal income taxes―until now.
Thanks to your hard work, we helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act, which includes a 15% corporate profits minimum tax on billion-dollar corporations. Now we need to help the American people understand how much this new law will benefit them.
Watch our latest video and then chip in to help bring it to thousands of people on social media and let them know how President Biden and Democrats are delivering on promises to hold greedy, tax dodging corporations accountable.
This week, our Executive Director, Frank Clemente, met with President Biden at the White House to celebrate the passage of this historic legislation.
The IRA delivers on many long-held goals, including:
-
Lowering prescription drug prices for seniors by allowing Medicare to negotiate with drug corporations
-
Keeping healthcare premiums affordable for 13 million people who purchase their insurance through Affordable Care Act exchanges
-
Making the largest investment ever in renewable energy to lower household costs and address the climate crisis
-
Putting a 1% excise tax on stock buybacks that corporations use to enrich their shareholders instead of investing in their workers
-
Significantly increasing tax enforcement to make the rich and corporate tax cheats pay what they already owe
-
Making billion-dollar corporations pay a 15% corporate profits minimum tax so they can’t get away with paying little to nothing in taxes.
You made this possible! Now, help us sell this historic legislation to the American people. Chip in today.

The Inflation Reduction Act is a BFD, but it’s only the beginning of our fight to unrig our tax code and economy and make the rich and corporations pay their fair share.
