Democratic Kansas Governor Makes 'No Apologies' for School Lockdowns
after Teachers' Union Endorsements
Democrat Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly admitted that she will "make no
apologies" for her extensive and damaging school lockdowns during the
COVID-19 pandemic. Both the academic performance and mental health of
students have suffered due to the lockdowns in Kansas, as more than a
third of students are testing at the lowest possible level for math and
a record-high number of teens say they have seriously considered
suicide.

Tudor Dixon unveils $1 billion plan to bolster police forces in Michigan
Republican nominee for Michigan governor Tudor Tuxon unveiled a major $1
billion proposal this week to recruit, retain, and train more law
enforcement officers in the Great Lakes State. Dixon: "This is an
extremely important issue for our state. We feel it is our top issue
because if we cannot keep our communities safe, we cannot keep people
here."
