This was unexpected, folks.

We just received a cease and desist letter from anti-LGBTQ+, anti-vax group Awake Illinois, which is officially designated a hate group by Equality Illinois.

That's the same group that recently honored Sean’s opponent Keith Pekau with an award for his commitment to spreading right-wing conspiracies. 

Now, Awake Illinois is DEMANDING that we stop any and all criticism of their hateful views, so I'll make this clear: Sean will always stand up for our LGBTQ+ community, no matter how many baseless attacks these extremists throw our way.

But it’s going to take everyone stepping up and meeting the urgency of this moment. With just hours left until our extended double-match deadline, we’re really counting on a surge of grassroots donations before midnight.
