Dear Friend, NCOSE IS GOING AFTER BIG PORN AND WINNING! Nine female college athletes traveled to South Carolina for a field hockey game. What they didn’t know was that this seemingly uneventful trip would end in an outrageous violation of their privacy – a predator secretly recorded the women while they were changing and showering in the university locker room after the game. But the abuse did not stop there. These violative images were then uploaded to some of the largest pornography websites in the world. These pornography websites approved the videos for mass distribution and profit despite the fact they were clearly recorded without the women’s knowledge or consent. Now, it’s time to hold Big Porn accountable for abuses like this, and that’s exactly what NCOSE is doing. Our Law Center joined as co-counsel in a lawsuit, Does 1-9 v. Murphy et al., on behalf of the nine young women who were secretly filmed and then trafficked on these websites which sexualized and monetized their abuse. NCOSE Senior Legal Counsel Dani Pinter says, “It is reprehensible that these women’s privacy was violated by the secret recording, but this was made even worse when the footage was uploaded to XHamster and Pornhub, both of which profited from their abuse.” With your support, NCOSE can fight for justice for these women whose abuse and exploitation garnered big profits for Pornhub and xHamster. We have launched or are co-counsel in some of the most groundbreaking lawsuits targeting sexual exploitation, including against Pornhub, XVideos, and Twitter! With your help, we can file hundreds more! To learn more about the work of Law Center, watch this video. |

This lawsuit on behalf of these nine female athletes is just one of many that the NCOSE Law Center has brought against internet pornography titans. The results just from filing are already apparent. As a result of these lawsuits and our advocacy, MindGeek’s CEO and COO have resigned, and they have laid off over half of their workforce as their pernicious practices have come to light and companies such as Mastercard, Discover, Heinz-Kraft, Roku, and Comcast are choosing to no longer to do business with them. It is a tragedy that these young women have endured the nightmare of having videos of their most private moments sold for personal profit by internet pornographers. It is a trauma they will likely carry with them for the rest of their lives. Justice must be served. You can help us prevent other young women from experiencing this trauma by taking down Big Porn NOW! We need to raise $130,000 to file four more lawsuits before year’s end. Will you partner with us to bring Big Porn’s reign of terror against our daughters, sons, and all others who are being sexually abused to line its pockets? Thank you! |
