Pennsylvania. Atlanta. Knoxville. Illinois. Texas. I’ve logged thousands of miles over the past few weeks, doing my part to help Republican candidates get elected. So when I woke up the other day and faced the prospect of going to the gym in my Knoxville hotel, I thought to myself… Ugh. Do I really want to?
They say showing up is the hardest part, and that’s true. As I made my way to the gym, I thought of all the other things I could be doing (sleep was at the top of my list!). But I pushed those voices away. I cranked up some Jimmie Allen tunes and forced myself onto the treadmill.

Boy, was I glad I did. I felt energized. I felt ready to tackle the world. The next two months are going to be exciting but exhausting. We have campaign events all over the country, stretching from New Hampshire to California. I may not be able to run as much as I usually do, but I will keep showing up and keep fighting. Because that’s the most important part. As we get down to the wire, I hope you’ll keep showing up, too. Showing up for our campaign fights, showing up for the things you’re passionate about, showing up for life.
