Last week I reached out to explain why our TV ads are so important to Josh’s campaign.
Now, we’re officially launching our second ad and I want to explain why our strategy is changing. When you’re done with this email, I hope you’ll send in a generous donation to help us keep our new ad on the air.
To recap from last week, as soon as we saw the poll showing Josh tied with his MAGA opponent, we rushed to film our TV ads. We knew we had get our ads on air much sooner than we planned. Our first ad was a positive commercial reminding voters about Josh’s roots and how he’s fought for local issues like water.
But then we got some really bad news - a GOP Super PAC reserved $2.1 million in negative ads in our media market.
That’s how we came to the decision to launch our second TV ad. We need to not just remind voters of why Josh is great - but we also need people to understand what electing a MAGA extremist like Tom Patti would mean for their families and our country. When we put the choice in front of voters, we know they will choose Josh.
All of these changes however have left us scrambling to get our budget in order. We have to lock in an amount with the TV channels every week and right now, we’re falling $20,000 short.
