1. WRAL: Settlement in NC lawsuit opens more public bathrooms to transgender individuals

"Transgender individuals can use bathrooms matching their gender identity in many government buildings in North Carolina under a settlement approved by a federal judge Tuesday.

The settlement, which covers only bathrooms in public buildings controlled by administrative agencies, including most state offices in downtown Raleigh, highway rest stops and state parks and historic sites, is the latest chapter in the long-running dispute over transgender bathroom access in the state."

2. NC VALUES RESPONSE: We warned you about Cooper's bathroom compromise...

This week federal district court Judge Thomas Schroeder entered a consent degree in the lawsuit filed by the ACLU and transgender activists against HB142, the compromise legislation agreed to by Governor Cooper and legislators in 2017 at the time they repealed HB2. Moore, was a state court challenge brought by the Southern Coalition for Social Justice in Wake County."

5. DAILY CALLER: Democrats denied transgender athletes have advantages in women’s sports. Science says they’re wrong

"Suppressing testosterone levels in male athletes isn’t enough to eliminate their natural advantages over female athletes, according to a recently published paper in the Journal of Medical Ethics.

The paper’s findings contradict congressional Democrats’ claim that male athletes who identify as transgender don’t have an inherent advantage over their female competitors.

The paper, “Transwomen in elite sport: scientific and ethical considerations,” concluded that male athletes who identify as transgender women have an “intolerable” advantage over their female competitors."

"The authors cited research showing that “healthy young men did not lose significant muscle mass (or power) when their circulating testosterone levels were reduced to [below International Olympic Committee guidelines] for 20 weeks.”"

WEEKLY PRAYER: OFFICIALS

LORD, we pray over the affairs of our country. You instructed us to pray for our elected and public officials, and so we raise our hands before you in public petition. We pray in particular over the Supreme Court and the various other federal and state courts. LORD, we pray protection and wisdom over them. May their judgments match your justice.

Grant all our public officials and servants humility, wisdom, and guidance.

Amen
