JOHN, every parent knows that when their child is first born, it’s almost impossible to take your eyes off them. That’s the sort of loving care Max and I have always had for our son Miles.
When the National Guard called Max to serve just two weeks after Miles was born, it was tough for all of us. But, just like he always has been, Max was ready to sacrifice to serve his country. And although he was ready to answer this call, he made sure it never stopped him from nightly phone calls or video chats with us at home.
That’s just the kind of person Max is.
I want to tell you a little more about my husband and why I think he’d make a great representative for NY-11. But first, I’m asking kindly if you’d take a moment to watch Max’s new television ad featuring me and chip in to help keep it on the air.
Call me biased, but I really do believe that Max is the best person for the job.
You know, it feels like a lot of politicians have misconstrued ‘family values’ to be backwards points of views on marriage equality or reproductive rights. For Max, this couldn’t be further from the truth. As a father, he knows that real family values are wanting to keep your kids safe at school by banning weapons of war; making our streets safer for families like ours to walk along; and putting money back in the pockets of working people to support their household.
These are all issues that I know Max will fight for because improving the lives of people across our district has always been one of his top priorities. Seriously, not joking when I say it’s just who he is!
One of the things that I love about Max is that he’s always watching out for others. And we need more of that in Congress and in our country.
So JOHN, I know Max will be as great of a representative as he is a father. If you can, will you please take a second to chip in and help him win in November?
Thank you for supporting Max!
