Hey team,

It’s Travis, Cheri’s campaign manager. I’m reaching out because I need to ask you to make a donation to our campaign, but before I do, I want to give you a bit of a behind-the-scenes on North Carolina’s Senate race.

So right now, as you probably know, McConnell’s super PAC is on the air attacking Cheri as part of a $28 million ad buy — the equivalent of nearly half a million dollars every single day until Election Day.

And rather than talk about Ted Budd’s agenda of abortion bans, overturning fair elections and giving billionaires tax breaks, they are pummeling Cheri with gross attack ads. So that’s the bad news — because we don’t have remotely the budget that his super PACs do.

But the good news is we do not have to match them dollar for dollar to win. A $3 donation to our campaign goes light years farther than $3 for a super PAC. That’s because candidates are guaranteed by law the lowest rate on TV ads. Plus unlike the super PACs, our campaign is building out a real organizing operation to talk directly to voters.

So even if you think that $3 doesn’t seem like enough to matter, it is. We are using every dollar as efficiently and effectively as absolutely possible. The most important thing is that we cannot slow down for even a second, so here’s where I ask:
