I’m reaching out because I wanted to make sure you saw the news that our campaign to unseat Republican Ken Calvert was just profiled in the New York Times.

CA-41 is a competitive swing seat, and we've sounded the alarm about the stakes in our race for months. Calvert has made a name for himself over his 30-year career as a staunch opponent of the LGTBQ community and abortion access. Now that he’s been redistricted into Palm Springs, he's trying to soften his radical record with voters in our district.

Local voters aren't falling for it, and we're relieved to see the national spotlight being cast on our race. Thousands of contributions have been pouring in from across this district, the state of California, and the rest of the country to help us defeat Calvert, but we still have some work to do:
