Hurricane Preparedness Greetings all. As I was reading SCDNR's bulletin today (sign up here, this is the best email subscription for storms headed our way, you will not regret it) alerting us to tropical storm Fiona, it was a friendly reminder that no matter how blue our skies are today, we are not out of hurricane season quite yet. We created a page to help you and your community prepare for such occasions, when we are visited by heavy storms or heavy rain: [link removed] You will find state and local resources and information on how best to prepare for the next storm. Hopefully Fiona stays far, far away, but in the event it does not, or we are visited by a different storm in the future, we want everyone prepared. If you do nothing else, please brush up on hurricane.sc it's SCEMD's hurricane guide. Take care and have a great rest of the weekend! Sincerely, Nancy Mace ###   Rep.
