September 17th marks the celebration of the bedrock of American governance. Constitution Day celebrates the world’s oldest written constitution. The product of the Philadelphia Convention of 1787, the Constitution has been the foundation of the nation’s federal system ever since. The B. Kenneth Simon Center for American Studies is pleased to exhibit several products on this Constitution Day: our Constitutional Guidance for Lawmakers page, the much-lauded Heritage Guide to the Constitution, and our Founders' Almanac. These works exhibit the importance of this supreme model of limited self-government, and examine the circumstances in which it was crafted. We invite you to view these products!
