The January 6 committee is planning to resume hearings on September 28.(1)

But will anyone be watching?

The committee has said it will call witnesses, including Clarence Thomas'
wife and former member of Congress Newt Gingrich, whose testimony will
show how Donald Trump's Big Lie has affected every level of government.(2)
We can't let those witnesses be aired on C-SPAN at 10 am on a workday. So
here's our plan:

We've already collected nearly 200,000 signatures -- including yours! --
demanding that Congress hold the meetings in prime time and that the major
networks air them. If we can raise $20,000 in the next 96 hours, we are
going to run ads that share those 200,000 signers' demands in the
publications that the members of the January 6 committee read,
including The Hill and Politico.

tens of millions of people see how Donald Trump and other MAGA Republicans
conspired to stage a coup against the American government. Will you donate

Don't forget, Donald Trump’s endorsed candidates across the country are
repeating his lies over and over again, and they’re instigating
unprecedented political violence and attacks.(3) The only way we can stop
Trump’s lies is by putting the truth about him and the January 6
insurrection in front of as many eyes as possible.

And he’s encouraging his endorsed candidates to undermine our democracy.

MAGA candidates for state legislature and secretary of state are promising
to swing elections for Trump in 2024 -- no matter who actually wins the
vote.(4)

People MUST witness these next testimonies and understand the danger that
our democracy is in from MAGA candidates.
