Friend,
Ballot measures are becoming increasingly deceptive to voters as wealthy special interests spend MILLIONS on misleading ads to skew the facts.
And unlike candidates for office, ballot measures are presented with no indication of which parties or organizations support them – making it difficult for voters to support the side they actually believe in.
But the Ballot DISCLOSE Act will ensure that ALL voters know who is for and against ballot measures – by including a short and easy-to-read list of the supporters and opponents of each ballot measure, right on the ballot.
This act would also level the playing field so that nonprofits and other trusted organizations can make their voices heard on ballot measures, without being outspent by wealthy corporations.
