John, we need to talk about factory farming. These massive warehouses dominate our nation’s food system and have nearly squeezed small family farms out of the picture.
Not only that, but factory farms are also major breeding grounds for disease and animal abuse — because they only care about meeting their bottom line, not the animals they’re raising to feed America.
We need to change the way we raise our food. Sign on today to join me in calling for big corporate farms to be dismantled.
As a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, I’ve been leading the fight to end factory farms through the Farm System Reform Act, which would crack down on monopolies in our food system and level the playing field for family farmers.
Unchecked corporate greed has let animal cruelty, pollution, and poor working conditions run rampant in these massive warehouses. It’s left our nation with a broken food system that caters to company executives, not the hard-working employees or families that just want to feed their kids safe, affordable, and nutritious meals.
As you can see, this is a multifaceted issue that is impacting our lives in more ways than one. That’s why we need to band together and stand up for our local farmers, environment, and animals that are being mistreated, and advocate for investing in a safer and healthier alternative.
Sign on to become a citizen co-sponsor of my legislation, the Farm System Reform Act, and help me stop factory farms for good.
With love and gratitude,
Cory
