Bad news for reproductive rights, JOHN.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham introduced a bill earlier this week to ban abortions nationwide after 15 weeks. Graham said, "If we take back the House and Senate, I can assure you we'll have a vote on [this bill]."

After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade earlier this year, millions of women across the country lost access to abortion care. If this legislation passes it would mean that regardless of whether you live in a red or blue state, your rights to reproductive care are at risk.

On the other hand, his Republican opponent, Allan Fung, opposed codifying Roe v. Wade in Rhode Island and was endorsed by RI Right to Life, a group that wants to make abortion illegal. Fung is in lockstep with Congressional Republicans' extreme agenda, and we know he'll support this devastating abortion ban. We can't afford to send him to Congress.
