Today, we celebrate the oldest living document in the history of the world that has protected representative government. On this Constitution Day, September 17, we recognize again the power and influence of 'We the people.'
I work for We. No one person runs our nation or state; We run our nation and state. But We need to get involved to make this Republic work.
We as a nation face many issues. We all have to lean in to do the work to put our nation back on the right track, protect our Oklahoma values, and ensure prosperity for future generations.
If We are going to see real change after November, We have to make sure over the next 52 days We show Washington, DC, that Oklahoma is paying attention and that We want to put Republicans who respect our Constitution and the people back in charge of the House and Senate.
We need to pray, and We need to get to work.
There are several ways you can help in the effort to turn the nation around over the next 52 days.
Get your family, friends, and neighbors engaged and remind them of the election on November 8.

Put your yard sign back in your lawn. If you need a yard sign, let us know! You can request one at www.jameslankford.com/volunteer ([link removed]) .
You can volunteer--knock doors, make phone calls, and help in our campaign office. Tell your friends and family why this election matters.
You can pray--we host a prayer call regularly to pray for our state, nation, and families. There's much work to do, and we know the power that can come from praying and getting to work. [link removed]
You can donate ([link removed]) --every dollar counts, and your money will go toward communicating with Oklahomans on the value of engaging in the election this fall, supplies for our volunteers, and much more.
If We come together, We can change Washington, DC. Remember, Washington doesn't change the country; the country changes Washington. That is the power of We.
We look forward to working with each of you in the days ahead to ensure we can continue to form a more perfect union as one nation under God.
