Friends,

Did you hear me on NPR last weekend?

I was one of the first freshmen in Congress to come forward after the Articles of Impeachment were published to say I'd vote yes on them, because I understand that no one is above the law.

As I said on this weekend's episode of All Things Considered, I made my decision to vote for impeachment without regard to political risks. This was not a decision about politics - it was about fulfilling my oath of office, and holding this President accountable.

"It's very, very important for everyone to understand that nobody in this country, especially those of us in government and the President, are not above the law."

SUPPORT SUSAN

The Republicans are already hitting us hard for doing the right thing. They are running ads to raise money from their base. I want to stay in this seat and keep doing the right thing, but I need your help.

We're coming up on a critical end-of-year deadline and every dollar is going to matter to defend this seat from those who rubber-stamp the unethical behavior of Donald Trump.

You counted on me to hold this administration accountable. Can I count on you to chip in?

And she knows, now more than ever, it's working-class families that deserve a break in this economy — not big city billionaires and wealthy corporations.

But she needs your support today -- her campaign runs on grassroots donations since she's not taking a dime of corporate PAC money. If you can, consider giving anything you can to her campaign today. >>
