Friend, 

I am Allison Boutwell and I am the new Organic Content Digital Organizer
for Battle Born Progress and Institute for a Progressive Nevada. You might
be wondering, what is an Organic Content Digital Organizer? I promise I
didn’t just make it up, but our National team did, SO HERE I AM. 

As the Organic Content Organizer, I will be creating a network of
volunteers to distribute content organically. Which means, I will need
your help to create a network of volunteers to distribute progressive
messaging and content via social media from the BBP team! 

It has become apparent that people are no longer getting their news and
information from traditional media outlets due to a lack of trust. This
has caused folks to get their news and information from social media.
However, this gives us the opportunity to counteract misinformation and
lies spread by the right.

Now, let’s talk about me! (my favorite topic)

I am a Las Vegas transplant from… bear with me… Florida. 

Two years ago, I packed my entire life into my car and hit the road out
west with my dog, Loula. After the restaurant I worked at shut down along
with the rest of the world in March 2020, I realized it was my chance to
shed and to grow into my new skin. In July of 2020, I was accepted into
the University of Las Vegas, Nevada and graduated with my Bachelors in
Journalism and media studies in May 2022. 

I wholeheartedly love Nevada, flies and all, and believe in Nevada.
Moreover, I believe in this organization and recognize how important our
work here is.
