Keeping Our Communities Safe |
John, Earlier this evening, I was pleased to join men and women in Minnesota’s law enforcement community for the annual Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association dinner. As I shared with my friends at the dinner, it’s shocking to see how many elected officials – who just two years ago were calling to defund the police and standing with lawlessness and anarchy – are now wrapping themselves in the blue as they campaign for re-election. As violent crime in Minnesota is skyrocketing and prosecutors and politicians send more dangerous criminals back to the streets, I am proud to continue standing with our law enforcement. As a 23-year police officer, I don’t wait for a poll to tell me what to say or who to support. Standing with our police and sheriffs isn’t an election year stunt for me, it’s my way of life. And I continue to support all of the brave men and women who keep our communities safe.

‘Kamala Harris’s Border Nonsense’ |
As you know, Joe Biden’s borderless society is creating national security and humanitarian crises on our southern border. As drugs and children are trafficked through Biden’s open borders, the White House once again showed how out of touch they are by somehow claiming our borders are secure and that it is a priority of the Biden administration the devolved into blaming Donald Trump, which is laughable. Check out the story, “Kamala Harris’s Border Nonsense.” |
‘Inflation Comes in Hotter Than Expected at 8.3%’ |
I don’t blame Minnesotans for not being able to technically explain the economic definition of “inflation.” But every family I visit with throughout the 8th congressional district can personally explain the pain inflation is causing on them. Sadly, Washington’s reckless spending triggered by Joe Biden’s socialist agenda has led to the worst inflation in 40 years. Minnesota seniors are struggling to pay for their gas, groceries, and medicine. Small businesses are barely managing to stay afloat while dealing with labor shortages, broken supply chains, and skyrocketing energy costs. And I continue to hear from workers who can’t afford to commute from home to work when gas peaked at $5 a gallon this summer. The only way to put an end to the fiscal madness is to ensure we end single party control in Washington, which starts with your vote in November. Minnesotans can’t afford the status quo in Washington or in St. Paul.
