On Tuesday, September 27, I’m hosting a webinar with special guests from my Human Trafficking Task Force to give parents and caregivers the opportunity to learn more about the risks kids and teens face online and the tools to keep them safe. Join me as we celebrate and lift up the many Hispanic Americans contributing to communities across CA-39 and the nation. The Brea Skate Park is officially back open! I’m glad to see this updated facility bring our Brea community together including trailblazer Patti McGee, the first female professional skateboarder and National Skateboard Championships winner. There's no hurdle we cannot overcome by working together. I was grateful to join our Yorba Linda community at last week’s prayer breakfast to stand in solidarity for opportunity, prosperity and hope. I know these service members will be an asset to our U.S. Army. Since 1924, Friendly Center OC has committed to providing stability, opportunity and a path to self-sufficiency to families facing poverty. Thank you to the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce for supporting our small business owners who are creating jobs, supporting our economy and pursuing their dream. I appreciated the opportunity to discuss my work in Congress to address inflation, expand our supply chains and support entrepreneurs. I stopped in at Reunion Kitchen in Anaheim between visits! The Asian crispy ribs and asparagus were a hit. South Korea is a key ally of the United States and strategic partner against growing threats in the Indo Pacific from authoritarian regimes like North Korea and China. This week, we commemorated 140 years of working together! Queen Elizabeth II leaves a lifelong legacy of grace, duty and strength that will not soon be forgotten. I paid my respects at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum and am thinking of our friends in the United Kingdom as the world mourns her passing. The App Challenge gives young people from communities across the nation the opportunity to move from passive consumers of technology to active creators of technology.
