Have you heard of this new app called “BeReal?” It’s been all the buzz recently.

Every day, the app will notify you that “It’s time to be real,” and ask you to take a selfie at that very moment. That way, instead of feeling jealous every time you see staged, touched-up photos from your friend’s latest vacation, you can see what they’re doing on a regular, average day.

Here’s the thing, folks: Since we’ve been in the Senate, an average day for us involves finding solutions for some of the biggest issues facing Coloradans, like climate change, prescription drug costs, and so much more. But if Mitch McConnell secures a Republican majority this November, an average day in Washington is going to be far less productive.

With so much work still ahead of us — let me “Be Real” with you: We need to do everything we can to protect our slim, 50-50 Senate majority this November.
